Graeme Brooks

Beginning his career with a Bachelor of Education, Graeme Brooks has spent 25 years in the education industry.

After 15 years as a physical education teacher Graeme founded Optimal Learning, a Registered Training Organisation that over the next decade positively influenced the lives of thousands of disengaged young people.

In three years, he took Optimal Learning from a start-up to winning the Excellence in Learning Award with Young People at Risk, and received international acclaim for its ground-breaking work. Work that meant thousands of youths were safe from drugs, homelessness, or just able to return to school.

As an internationally accredited NLP trainer, who is certified from the INLPT (International NLP Trainers Association), Graeme has pioneered and refined the application of NLP training in Australia. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis.

Graeme specialises in NLP, the second order applications of Neuro Behavioural Modelling, and Gravesian Theory in the areas of societal change, educational leadership, youth at risk, sports psychology and personal evolution.

A sought-after public speaker, Graeme has presented at numerous educational conferences in Australia and New Zealand on his pioneering work to facilitate transformational change in educational leadership development and youth disadvantage.

He is also the co-founder of Principal Conversations, an innovative Neuro Behavioural Modelling research projectĀ with professional developmentĀ programs for educational leaders focused on innovative change within schools.

Marvin Oka

Marvin Oka is a highly sought-after international consultant and speaker specialising in business and management applications of behavioural change technologies and research.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and living in Australia since 1987, Marvin is the founder and head of Behavioural Modelling Research and the Professoinal Change Agents Network (PCAN). Marvin is also one of the three founding Directors of the International NLP Trainers Association.Ā 

Marvin’s professional background is in the innovative field of Neuro- Behavioural Modelling. This field examines various forms of human talent, ability and expertise, and then seeks to create models and methods to replicate these forms of superior performance in others.

As a consultant, Marvin’s expertise is unique as he is the only Neuro-Behavioural Modelling practitioner specialising in the related areas of leadership, organisational culture shaping, leadership communications, strategic thinking and systemic change. He is one of five people in the world to be recognised with the rare title of Certified Master Behavioural Modeller.

Marvin has created several application-based methodologies from his Neuro-Behavioural Modelling research including Generative Learning (for training and learning), Strategic Navigation (a strategic management methodology developed in collaboration with Dr. Richard Hames), Generative Inner Work Coaching (for executive and leadership development), Wellness Languaging (for the wellness industry) and his work in multiple brain integration techniques (mBIT) with research colleague, Grant Soosalu, with whom heĀ co-authoredĀ their book, ā€˜mBraining’ (April 2012).

Marvin was on the Learning and Leadership Advisory Group for the Australian Futures Project, a multi-sector, non-profit and non-partisan initiative hosted by LaTrobe University focused on developing political leadership capabilities of Parliamentarians for the future of Australia.
